A study of the application of electrokinetic (EK) remediation and Permeable Reactive Barriers (PRB) using recyclable Foods Scrap Ash (FSA) in multiple contaminated soils was carried out. An FSA was chosen as a PRB fill material due to its highly efficient capacity for contaminant removal.
